Steps to hide or visible friend list from public, specific friend or friends

Friend list is ultimate characteristic of Facebook. Basically social networking or social hub is based on friends all around the globe. So making friends is initial stage of all activities like chat, share post, comments on others or own post, like etc because we do not want most of our post will be public.

In this context, Friend list is not a ordinary list, it is list of friend who are currently select as friend by me and who can see my activities which are shared as only friends or public which one is selected.

Friend list visibility depends on our security settings of your account. By this option you can hide or visible friend list from specific friend or friends or public or friends of friends. To set this visibility you have to follow the following steps.

1. Go to Edit of your Profile->Left pane select Family and Friends->in Friends level go to right side top corner select your privacy settings.
2. Here you find your visibility drop down menu and you should select as per your requirement.

Visibility Drop down option:

Public- All can see your friend list

Friends- Only friends can see your friend list

Only Me- Only you can see your friend list

Custom- Here you can permit or Hide your friend list from specific person or group of person.

Close friends- Only close friends can see your friend list

Recent- Only recent friends can see your friend list

Now, select your desire option and click Save Changes to hide or visible friend list from specific friend or friends.
