Process to change cover image in new facebook timeline

Facebook change it’s profile looks, which is known as Facebook Timeline which replace previous Wall looks. In Facebook Timeline most of features are new to Facebook user and users are not familiar with those new attributes from first day. They need help to be acquainted and we are here for them.

Cover image is one of the important characteristics in new Timeline. It makes the Timeline attractive and gives a great look. Cover image basically a large image which reflect your profile and nature. It also used as showcases of any profile.

In new Timeline cover image is not set initially. User has to set it by upload a new image or select an existing image from Facebook albums or photos. In cover image you can show full image or part of any image by cropping or repositioning the selected image as per your choice.

Below I describe steps how to set new cover image or change existing image in Timeline.

Steps for change existing image:-

1. First login to your Facebook Timeline Profile.
2. Mouse over on your existing cover image.
3. Click Change Cover at the bottom-right of your cover image.
4. Pick one of the options from the pop-up menu (ex: Choose from Photos-Your uploaded image, Upload Photo-from disk, Reposition-change position, Remove-Remove cover).
5. Save your change then new image will visible in your Timeline cover.

Steps to add new cover image:-
1. Login to you timeline profile.
2. Click on “Add a cover button”
3. Follow steps 4 to 5 from previous.
