2. Enter BIOS setting by pressing “DEL” or “F2” as per your motherboard vendor instruction, check BIOS mouse and keyboard setup, If you found USB keyboard and Mouse support is disable, then Enable it first.
3. Now check your USB optical Mouse laser to ensure power is passing through Mouse cable and it is OK. Afterward check the condition of light, does it emit light? If, there is no light emit, then your Mouse is Faulty.
4. Check Keyboard Power by pressing Caps Lock/Num Lock. If LED related to those button are Green or Amber (depend on vendor settings), then we can confirm that our keyboard have no power problem.
5. After checking above steps, you must restart your PC Normally.
6. If problem is not solved yet, then change USB port (interchange front USB port with motherboard built-in USB port in desktop backside). Again no result and problem exist, then check out your USB port with other USB devices and observe it. If other devices are OK, then we will go for a conclusion that internal circuit of USB keyboard or optical mouse is faulty. Otherwise, we may confirm USB is faulty due to motherboard problem that why it can not detect any USB devices.
7. There also another checking to find which one is faulty. Insert your mouse or keyboard into another running system. If it detect mouse or keyboard and show working then you can say motherboard fault, otherwise, you must confirm your keyboard and mouse faulty which is not working after attach with another operational computer.
